WiVerify Privacy Policy

WiVerify (“we”, “us”) provides a Shopify Admin app that verifies United States shipping addresses using Lob’s USPS-backed verification API.

Information we collect through Shopify APIs

• Shop domain, shop id, offline access token (encrypted at rest)
• Order id / order name and shipping address fields (address1, address2, city, provinceCode, zip, countryCode, and when present name/company)
• App-owned order metafields that store verification status and normalized results
• Usage metering events for billable verifications (no raw address content)

We do not request customer email, phone, or customer profile scopes in the MVP.

Information we collect from merchants

Merchant settings such as “Auto update verified addresses”. We may receive support messages you send to support@wicartonize.com.

How we use information

• To verify deliverability of US shipping addresses via Lob
• To show results in Shopify Admin (Order block, Dashboard, Orders, Settings)
• To optionally apply a standardized address when the merchant enables Auto update or clicks Apply
• To meter usage under Shopify App Pricing (address_verified)
• To respond to Shopify mandatory privacy webhooks (data request, customer redact, shop redact)

Processors

Address verification requests are sent to Lob (United States verification). Hosting runs on Railway. Shopify receives App Events for billing. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Tenant data is retained while the app is installed and as needed for billing/support. After uninstall, Shopify sends shop/redact; we purge shop/organization data. Customer redaction webhooks scrub address snapshots for listed orders.

International transfers

Infrastructure and processors may process data in the United States or other regions where those providers operate.
